In the summer of 2008, Springvale Baptist Church launched the fundraising phase of our new building project. Even with holding two worship services on Sunday mornings, our sanctuary is almost filled to capacity and our Sunday school classrooms are at the bursting point. Simply put, if we are going to continue to do God's will and support the surrounding communities, we have to have more room. The proposed new sanctuary came with a price tag of over $2 million! While that amount is nothing to God, it's a lot of money for a small congregation. When our Building Committee began the fundraising phase of this project, they issued a challenge. Each group within the church was to come up with at least one fundraising idea. Our Sunday school class started Palmetto Christian as our effort to contribute to the new building project. The idea was to create a stream of revenue while, at the same time, ministering to others. Each tshirt you buy helps us chip away at the $2 million dollar mountain we face and also opens the door for important outreach opportunities. We sincerely thank you for your support!
